
In addition to our flagship native garden at Sweitzer park, look for the other native gardens L4P has planted around town: In front of the Laurel Historical Society Museum, in Sturgis Moore Recreation area adjacent the Monarch Metamorphism mural, and at the American Legion Post 60. Unfortunately, the garden at the legion has been overtaken by the invasive plant, common mugwort. Until a native garden is mature, consistent weeding of invasives must be done.
