Celebrate National Poetry Month! L4P has teamed up with the Laurel Arts Council to bring Poetry in the Parks to our city. Join us at Sweitzer Park for the unveiling our very own poem-engraved picnic table. The poem was written by local poet Jennifer N. Shannon. She’ll be there to read the poem and other community members will share what they wrote at our recent poetry workshop. Light refreshments will be served. Come mingle and see the first permanent installation of poems in Laurel parks.
