    • Brian is in communication with PG County Council to apply for another grant

    • Prince George’s County Stormwater Stewardship Grant Program: on-the-ground restoration activities that improve communities, improve water quality, support the County’s Climate Action Plan, and engage Prince George’s County residents in the restoration and protection of the local rivers and streams of Prince George’s County.

    • Get the word out to friends, families and other organizations you’re a part of!

  • Patuxent Research Refuge - Brian

    • National Wildlife Visitor Center hours will be modified to Wednesday through Saturday 10am to 4pm. 

    • North Tract will be closed for October.  Transitioning to allow for open access from 8 AM to 4 PM every Sunday. 

  • Environmental Affairs Committee - Mike Maxwell

    • Opening for another member

    • October is Riparian Buffer Month:  opportunities for Laurel city council to protect Patuxent river along main street with green infrastructure, maximizing set back restrictions on development, strong enforcement of breach of setbacks, restricting development and landscaping practices of property owners adjacent to river park.
